autumn ~ recycling wounds

The autumn moon has been doing her stuff, singing
to me her softening tune..

meet the latest moon lady..

her transformation in motion..
soon to be a lunary card..

She came to me like the gentle swirl of autumn leaves
as they leave their towering homes, and fall gently to
their source.. speaking again of honesty.
Tumbling...
down in pockets of air.
Spiraling...
like the parts of
self that are painfully bruised.. aching to be loved,
like the rest.. yet rejected for their darkness, the
discomfort they create within.
Refusing...
to be ignored..
this aching hurt is part of me.

all ~ is who we are
if we hide parts with control
how on earth ~ will we be whole ?

our wounds deserve attention.. reflection..
honest consideration..
acceptance.
so, I love them and allow them to fall..
not to be rid of them..
i want these parts of me.. they teach.
They fall to rest on the earth at my roots.. to transform..
to nourish..being re-absorbed.. recycled..
these softened shadows..
remaining with me to be loved...

It’s that time again.. of harvest..
of abundance.. of joy..
and celebration.. of gratitude..
for our wholeness..
our interconnectedness
with all...
a time to balance...
the spiral of life continues..
to flow...

Autumn equinox greetings to you all...
may the gentle autumn season..
nourish your spirits...

Sue, you a wiser than you know. Than you for putting these thoughts into words so clearly and beautifully. It is a human condition to hide that which makes us vulnerable. is it a sense of trying to be dignified? or simply that our unconscious knows how predatory mankind can be? Either way, by hiding our wounds we fool no one but ourselves. Facing our 'crosses' makes us stronger.

Sending love sweet lady xx

Nice doodle. I do doodle too. Your poem is too deep for me. Lost ya somewhere. I made a poem too last time in which all the words end with -ion. Like yours too.

and that photo is exquisite.
I agree, so good to accept all the parts of ourselves.....

A lovely synchronicity - I chose a goddess card for the equinox, and got Inanna, which is about Embracing the Shadow, accepting the parts of ourselves which are Not Nice.
