hello folks am home again and at present enjoying quietly mulling around among the upsidedown and back to front..slowly getting sorted and settling in again. Thanks for the lovely messages you left, so nice to read when we got back. have been completely incommunicado while away, no internet whatsoever.. which was quite refreshing in itself.. have missed reading your blogs tho' and looking forward to catching up with you.
having spent the first 20 or so years of my adult life on the move wandering from country to country, place to place, i've always felt most at home, at ease, living out of my rucksack as opposed to living out of stuff filled four walls. after having a base and staying mostly in one place for the past few year that seems to be balancing now :) i loved being away but am also loving being home.. a nice feeling, along with realising just how much i appreciate being able to combine the two.
and it seems i've missed winter this year :o) when we got back last year everything was still covered in a compact whiteness, tis still a wee bit cold here but very fresh.. feeling spring in the air...
hope you've all had a wonderful start to 2011...
love.......love.......love.......

I was just thinking the other day you must be due back soon. Glad to hear you had a lovely time (and don't bank on winter being over just yet...I think we have snow forcast for next week ;o) ) xxx
mmm... you missed some rough stuff on the weather front, but you never know... might have saved some for later!
we've done things the opposite way... i stayed put for my first 20 'adult' years & have wandered the last few... with a bit more than a rucksack, but can't imagine being in a house for a good while yet!
good to see you xox

Lovely to see you back. I don't like to let the grass grow under my feet and often moved cities ever year or too. I have moved city 3 times in a yeasr over two different years. I feel like I know alot of the country though and that feels important. xx
